The Asian Australian Women Association (AAWA) is a not-for-profit organisation that advocates for the welfare of Asian-Australian women in our local communities and has been in operation since 2018.

We are launching free English classes for new migrants, overseas students and visiting tourists.

Settling or even visiting a country where you do not know the native language is often a challenging experience, therefore our goal is to make it an easier one and in the long-term help develop the English skills of non-English speaking people who seek to settle well in Australia.

I am writing this to invite you to our English Class opening and welcome those individuals who are either deciding on settling in Australia or who have already settled and wish to improve their English.

This will take place on Saturday 29th April, at 9AM-10:30AM. Morning tea will be provided.

I am very honoured to invite Strathfield Mayor, Cr Karen Pensabene and councillor Cr Benjamin Cai for this event.

Further information will be provided in due course.
